Ruth 2:3 (NKJV)
Then she left, and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers. And she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech.
Ruth was a widow, she have lost her husband and gave up her family to follow Naomi. Then one day “it just happened” that she was gleaning the field of Boaz. We all know that she later married him. But Naomi is the great grandmother of King David and she is the lineage do Jesus. God leaded her unknowingly and suddenly the same field she worked became her property.
Naomi gave up her family and her country to for God’s plan for her life. And God respected that. It wasn’t by accident she was collecting grain in Boaz fields it was God unknowingly guiding her there.
In 2006 I was attending the first Sunday service (I normally attended the second) and I was sitting with my home group which I was leading. I think it was the only time I ever sat with them. That Sunday morning there was a announcement for a mission trip to Kenya. Two of my members wanted to go and offered to pay for me. And the Lord have me an opportunity on that trip to become a full-time missionary.
